We had a DELUXE room with a mini bar fridge, flat-screen television and an iPod docking station. Good choice for exploring London.

Nice! We lived in a suite. It's just a huge room, like an apartment. There is a kitchen with Melier appliances, and a living room with soft sofas chairs, and a big bedroom. The carpet is light and very clean, which is extremely rare in hotels. There is fabric wallpaper on the walls. The room looks expensive, but very cozy at the same time. Woke up very early, because of the time shift, ordered breakfast in the room, covered in the living room at 3 am! Beautiful. The service is excellent. Nothing to compare with London, but no worse than four Seasons and other hotels. All major attractions are 15 minutes on foot and Chinatown, Cowen Garden and Piccadilly are behind you. In front of the hotel is Her Majesty's Theatre, with the musical The Phantom of the Opera. I recommend it unequivocally.
No, really.

1. A quality hotel with its character and design... 2. Very clean... 3. Excellent staff... 4. Great breakfasts... 5. Nice 18 meter pool... 6. On Thursdays, "live" jazz at the bar.
1. For £500 a day, there's not even a free bottle of water in the room - all through the minibar for the money. I think the owners are too keen on making money. It's true, they gave out a complimentary mini-bar of chocolates on arrival. But I don't like sweets. 2. When checking in, they ignored my request from the reservation to provide a quiet room - they gave a room right in front of the elevators, of course, it was noisy. I could hear the elevator lying in bed. However, the request for a high floor was heard - they gave me a room on the last floor.)

Location Interior design staff
No tea and coffee in rooms given cost of stay

A high spec quality boutique hotel - well worth the money and in an excellent location
-
Apart from the lavish rooms and overall decor of the hotel the staff at the hotel definitely made the trip worthwhile. I had a few special requirements which were seamlessly dealt with in an extremely efficient manner. The hotel exudes luxury and the staff are polite, courteous and friendly. This was our second stay at the Haymarket and it will not be our last. Throughly recommended.

The location is excellent, the style and comfort of the hotel are first-rate.
I thought that the restaurant aimed a little lower than it might do, given how impressive the rest of the hotel is. I have eaten in a private room at the hotel before and the food then was excellent.

Attention to detail, a boutique hotel with a difference.

Loved the location of the hotel. Great sized bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and bright.
Renovation works being carried out in the room above, very noisy, had to ring and complain as it sounded like they were about to knock through into our room . They stopped the work (this was the afternoon we checked in). However, the next morning we could hear people going in and out of the room from 5.30am. No in room tea or coffee facilities which is a shame as we didn't want to have to call down just for a cup of tea.
-
The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the products in the mini bar
Lack of tea & coffee making facilities also the bath took an incredibly long time to fill
-
Lovely hotel - very comfortable quiet room - everything I needed - and breakfast was excellent.
Only downside of an otherwise perfect stay was a slightly snooty member of staff in the bar - but that was it - and it didn't spoil the stay.

We had a large newly refurbished room which had been elegantly decorated. The bathroom was very large and spotlessly clean. When we returned from an evening out, the towels we had used had been replaced and the bins emptied. Our pre-theatre dinner was good with excellent service from our waiter who completely understood that we had only limited time.
It would have been nice if tea and coffee making facilities had been provided. We were brought cups and saucers and fresh milk and were offered a kettle (we had brought our own) but it would have been better to have had these already in the room with sachets of coffee and tea bags. We were confused by the organisation at breakfast. It seems we should have waited for our order for cooked dishes to be taken before we served ourselves from the buffet, but this was not explained to us when we were shown to our table.

Location
Breakfast - slow sevice

Delightful, smiling staff, high standard of decoration and furnishings, very welcoming and comfortable, convenient location. What’s not to like?
Flexible reading lights in the room would have been an improvement. The pricing structure for breakfast is rather complicated.
